Crime Stoppers Tip Turns into Search Warrant and Narcotics Seizure

Gilcrease Division officers received information about possible
drug activity in the area of 2000 N. Trenton Ave. While conducting
surveillance officers observed a hand to hand drug transaction.
Officer Ballard was nearby and attempted to stop one of the
vehicles involved. The suspect in the vehicle pulled into 2020 N.
Trenton Ave. and bailed out of the vehicle and fled on foot. Off.
Ballard chased, but was unable to locate the suspect. After further
investigation officers discovered that the suspect that escaped
possibly resided at 2020 N. Trenton Ave. Officers made
contact with the other occupants of 2020 N. Trenton Avenue to look
for the suspect that eluded officers. During a search of the
residence officers observed crack cocaine and money in plain view.
Officers wrote a search warrant for the house. Upon the search
warrant being granted officers located over 2 ounces of powder
cocaine and about 2 ounces of crack cocaine, along with over $2000
in the house. Officers arrested Chazrae Tyson for Trafficking
Cocaine and Aggravated Trafficking Cocaine Base.
