Cyber Crimes Unit
The Cyber Crimes Unit was formed in January of 2000
and consists of two detectives and two supervisors.
The Unit investigates internet crimes against
children. The unit also does forensic examinations of
computers and digital media using state of the art computer
hardware and software.
The Unit provides technical support for homicide, robbery,
sex crimes, child crisis, burglary, financial crimes and other
regional investigators.
The Unit provides public education by presenting internet
safety to schools, churches, and other organizations.
