Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over
ARCHIVED PRESS RELEASE: Published 8-23-2012
The reason is because of impaired driving and although
statistics have shown a decline in the number of DUI related
fatalities, the numbers are still too high. In 2010, 10,228
people died in crashes in which a driver or motorcycle rider was at
or above the legal limit. All too often, innocent, law
abiding people suffer tragic consequences and the loss of loved
ones due to this careless disregard for human life. Because
we are committed to ending the carnage, we're reaffirming our
enforcement during this crackdown.
Join us along with several speakers including Chief Chuck Jordan
for a countywide saturation event on Saturday August 25th at 7:00
PM at the Oklahoma Department of Transportation facility - 4002 N.
Mingo Valley Expressway.
