Armed Robbery:
On August 28, 2012, at 9:25 p.m., officers responded to the 700 block of N. Hudson Avenue, in reference to an armed robbery of an individual. The victim told officers he was in the front yard of his residence working on a vehicle when he was approached by two black males, one of the males was armed with a handgun. The suspects demanded the victim's wallet. The victim complied with their demands.  After the victim complied one of the suspects hit him in the head.  The suspects fled the scene on foot.
Suspect #1, black male, 17-22 yoa, 5'10"-6'00" and 150lbs-170lbs.
Suspect #2, black male, 17-22 yoa, 5'07"-5'09" and 150 lbs-170 lbs.

Stabbing Arrest:
On August 28, 2012 at 9:30 p.m., officers responded to a fight at 721 N. Kingston Avenue. When officers arrived they were told two females had been fighting when a 23 yoa, male attempted to stop them.  As the victim attempted to break up the fight Rachel Morehead grabbed a piece of broken glass and stabbed him in the ear. The victim was transported to a local hospital. His injury was non-life threatening.
Rachel Morehead, dob: 11-09-91 was arrested for Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

Endeavoring  to Manufacture Meth:
On August 28, 2012 at 5:00 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle in the area of 4600 N. Peoria Avenue, for an expired tag. Further investigation revealed the vehicle was stolen from a local dealership. An inventory search revealed a methamphetamine lab.
Billy Allen, dob: 10-06-66, was arrested for Endeavoring to Manufacture Methamphetamine and Possession of a Stolen Vehicle. Allen also had several outstanding warrants.

Robbery Arrest:
On August 28, 2012 at 6:15 p.m., officers responded to the Dollar General at 2811 North Peoria Avenue, in reference to a robbery of an individual. The victim told officers three black males between the ages of 15-17 robbed her in the parking lot.  Simultaneously, the victim was on the phone with her husband, who spotted the three suspects near 2700 North Utica Avenue. Officers responded to the area and made contact with the three suspects and took them into custody.
Rico Howard, dob: 05-12-94 and two juveniles, 17 &15 were arrested for robbery.
