Serial Assault Suspect

The investigation revealed the suspect entered the residence of a woman in her 60's who was home alone. The suspect's actions and statements during the assault are consistent with the serial assault suspect.

In low light conditions the suspect appeared to be a light skinned black male about 5'08" tall, thin build with muscular arms, no facial hair and short hair. He was wearing long basketball style shorts, t-shirt and tennis shoes. The suspect's face was partially covered.

On June 27th about 7:15 a.m. officers were dispatch to the area of 400 S. Quebec Ave. in reference to an assault. After speaking with the victim investigators have determined there are similarities to the previous 6 sexual assaults.

The victim was able to assist with a facial composite of the suspect. The provided composite is only a representation from the victim's memory. The composite is not to be considered a portrait but a rendition of the suspect's features. The purpose of the composite is to attract clues and notify the public to look out for suspicious persons resembling the suspect.

We are not releasing specifics of the assault in consideration of the stress and trauma the victim endured and the sensitivity of the cases. The Serial Assault Task Force is continuing the search to identify and apprehend the suspect.

The suspect description is a white male approximately 40 years of age, 5'9" tall, weighing 150 lbs. medium complexion, short straight black hair with short stubble of a beard. He was wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and brown leather boots.
