Beyond the Badge: Tulsa Police hosting law enforcement career event

The Tulsa Police Department is hosting a "Beyond the Badge" event for those who may be interested in a career in law enforcement.

The event will take participants through an overview of the department, highlights from units including SWAT, Crime Scene, and First Aid. There will also be an explanation of the application process and Physical Abilities Test.

The event will be held Aug. 16 from 9 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. at the Tulsa Police Academy at 6066 E 66th St. N. with a lunch provided. Participants must be between the ages of 18 and 45.
