Chief Larsen represents TPD at National Police Week 2025

Chief Dennis Larsen and other members of Tulsa Police leadership stand in front of the U.S. Capitol building.

This week, Chief Dennis Larsen, Command Staff, several Officers, and members of the Tulsa Police Honor Guard are in Washington, D.C., representing the department at National Police Week 2025.

This year, National Police Week runs from May 11th to May 17th. As we come to a close, we wanted to share some photos from the trip.

National Police Week honors and remembers fallen Officers across the country. The events allow law enforcement, families, survivors, and citizens to gather and pay homage to those who gave their lives in the line of duty.

There are many events throughout the week -- the most notable being the Annual Candlelight Vigil at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial, the National Police K-9 Memorial Service, and the largest event happened on Thursday, the Annual National Peace Officers' Memorial Service.
