Class 128 graduates from Tulsa Police Academy

Writer: Ryan LoveRyan Love

The Tulsa Police Department welcomed nine new officers on Friday in a ceremony celebrating their graduation from the Tulsa Police Academy.

The officers of Class 128 are moving on after 30 weeks of intense and challenging training. They'll now have 16 weeks of field training before they are given a patrol car and out on their own.

It's a full 11 months after they walk into the academy until their initial training is complete.

We’d like to recognize the universities from which our new graduates hold degrees: Oklahoma Wesleyan University , University of Oklahoma, Rogers State University, Oklahoma State University, and Northeastern State University.
