One teen is dead and another went to the hospital after a shooting at a party in a Tulsa neighborhood early Sunday morning.
Tulsa police officers responded to a call about shots fired in a neighborhood near Highway 412 and N. Union Ave around 12:55 a.m. They arrived to find 15-year-old Joshua Saldivar dead in the street with a gunshot wound.
Detectives learned there were more than 100 people in the area for the party including many teenagers. At some point during the party, gunshots started.
A 16-year-old boy was also shot in the arm but is expected to be OK.
Detectives are actively working to identify a suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call Tulsa Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS. You can remain anonymous when calling, and rewards are paid for information that leads to an arrest.
