Tulsa Police Officers arrested five teenagers on Tuesday after catching them with stolen guns.
At around 6:40 a.m., Officers responded to a home near 9500 S. 95th E. Ave. for a call about a Domestic in Progress.
The female caller said a man was hitting her, and she said several other men in the house had guns and were pointing them at her. The woman said the men then left in a white sedan, and one left on foot.
As Officers were approaching 91st and Mingo, they saw a white Dodge Charger with several individuals matching the description given by the caller.
Officers stopped the car on a traffic stop, and five individuals were taken into custody.
Inside the car, Officers found a loaded handgun in the backseat and two more handguns in a backpack in the trunk. Two of the guns were reported stolen.
The five individuals, Jaden Lyons (19), Future Ledbetter (19), Anthony Lane (18), Darreon Davis (19), and Prince Brown (18), were all arrested for:
Knowingly Concealing Stolen Property over $1000 -- Felony
Knowingly Concealing Stolen Property under $1000 -- Misdemeanor
Possession of a Firearm by a Minor Under 21
These are arrests, not convictions.
For clarification, an ongoing investigation into the Domestic incident is still underway, and additional charges are possible.
