The Tulsa Police Department arrested a man on Saturday following an attack using a hatchet at a Jack in the Box location.

On October 18, 2025, at approximately 11:15 p.m., Tulsa Police Officers responded to a reported Assault with a Dangerous Weapon at the Jack in the Box near 41st and Garnett.

The victim reported that coworker Tristan Levier became upset because he heard the victim talking to a manager about a tattoo. The victim said Levier then left the restaurant and retrieved a hatchet to damage the victim's car tire in the parking lot. A confrontation in the parking lot led to a physical altercation, resulting in the victim sustaining a severe cut that required stitches.

Levier fled the scene before Officers arrived. However, with assistance from the Real Time Information Center (RTIC), Officers quickly located him near 2800 S 115th E. Ave.

Levier told Officers that he cut the victim because he was mad about the conversation the victim was having with the manager, and he did not like the fact that the victim thought he was a "badass."

Levier admitted to the assault and was booked on charges of Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon and Malicious Mischief/Injury to Property.

This is an arrest, not a conviction.
