Man arrested after Tulsa double shooting leaves two dead

Tulsa police officers found two people dead in a pickup truck after a shooting Saturday night.

The Tulsa Police Department arrested a man after a shooting left two people dead Saturday night.


Tulsa police officers responded to a shooting call at a mobile home park near Admiral and 121st East Ave. around 11 p.m. They arrived to find Luis Garcia and Jose Garcia-Reyes dead inside of a pickup truck parked in the middle of the street.


Through the investigation, officers learned the altercation started in the mobile home park over a truck blocking the street. Eventually, 22-year-old Elwyn Lopez came out of a nearby home and fire multiple shots into the pickup truck, killing both men inside.


Officers arrested Lopez who's facing two counts of First-Degree Murder.
