Tulsa police arrested a man on Friday accused of kidnapping his ex-girlfriend and then causing a crash that killed two other men earlier this week.

On October 5th, 2025, around 2:10 a.m., Officers responded to a fatal crash at 21st and Memorial. A Jeep Wrangler collided with a Dodge pickup, causing the truck to wrap around a traffic pole and the Jeep to hit a utility pole.

Two men in the pickup truck were thrown out, and both died from their injuries. They are identified as 33-year-old Kyle Silk and 28-year-old Kortlin Harmon.

Christian Guerrero was driving the Jeep at the time, and his ex-girlfriend was a passenger. She broke her hand in the crash and suffered other cuts and minor injuries. Guerrero was not injured.

Guerrero's ex-girlfriend reported that on the night of the collision, Guerrero was stalking her and harassing her at his house, then he forced her into his vehicle. She noted that Guerrero was driving recklessly and speeding, and she saw him run the red light at the intersection before the collision occurred.

Another witness said earlier in the night that they were with Guerrero at the fair. They reported he was drinking heavily, shooting a gun in the air, acting erratically, and at times driving over 100 mph.

Traffic Investigators determined Guerrero was traveling at 80+ mph when he ran the light at 21st and Memorial and caused the collision.

On October 10th, 2025, Christian Guerrero was arrested for:

  • 2nd Degree Murder, two counts

  • Kidnapping

  • Stalking

  • Reckless Driving

  • Speeding

  • Failure to Stop at a Red Light

Results from a blood draw will determine if Guerrero was intoxicated at the time of the crash, and he could face additional charges.

This is an arrest, not a conviction.
