A Tulsa man turned himself in on Wednesday night after he was charged in the death of his father.

Tulsa police officers responded to a shooting call around 12:45 p.m. on April 9 at an apartment complex near 43rd Street and Garnett where they found 37-year-old Ismael King with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest. He died from his injuries in the hospital the next day.

Detectives identified Raterrius King, the victim's son, as the suspected shooter in his dad's death. He was charged with First-Degree Murder on Wednesday and he turned himself in that night.
