The Tulsa Police Department celebrated with the community on Sunday at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Case Family Safety Center.

Tulsa Police Chief Larsen was among those in attendance at the ceremony, which featured speakers including Tulsa Mayor Monroe Nichols and Attorney General Gentner Drummond.

The new building has new amenities for both members of the public and those who work there. There is a dedicated area for both teens and young children to play, as well as new centralized workspaces for partners of the Family Safety Center.

The Tulsa Police Department's Special Victims Unit, Family Violence Unit, and Victim Services Unit are now housed in this new location.
