Last week, the City of Tulsa welcomed five new 911 Dispatchers who have graduated from the academy.
Those five dispatchers spent the last six weeks going through an extensive academy, learning Tulsa's geography, call types, interviewing skills and 10-codes. They'll spend the next 5-8 weeks working one-on-one with a trainer for on-the-job experience.
