A man is in custody after admitting to strangling his mother to death on Thursday afternoon.
Tulsa police officers responded to a neighborhood near 56th Street and South Peoria around 2:30 p.m. after a caller said he'd strangled his mother. Officers arrived to find the Dana Jones unresponsive and the caller Drayk Jones in security custody.
Paramedics to the mother to the hospital where she died shortly after.
Detectives interviewed Drayk Jones and arrested him on a complaint of First-Degree Murder.
