Dozens of Tulsa Police Officers gathered in east Tulsa on Saturday to celebrate National Faith & Blue Weekend.
The annual gathering is an effort to strengthen the bonds between local law enforcement, churches, and the community.
This year, we combined efforts and had Officers from all three patrol divisions, including Mingo Valley, Riverside and Gilcrease, for a large-scale event. Chief Larsen attended and other command staff also attended.
Detective Reggie Warren sang the national anthem to kick off the event. The Tulsa Police Air Support Unit also made a special appearance and showed off the helicopter!
We were joined by many of our community partners, including the Tulsa Fire Department, EMSA, Lighthorse Police, the Tulsa County District Attorney's Office, and City of Tulsa Municipal Courts.
Special thanks to God's Shining Light Church for hosting, and QuikTrip for their donations to make this event possible.
