Tulsa Police Incident Management Team responds to Texas, New Mexico flooding

Three Tulsa Police Officers, as part of the Incident Management Team (IMT), have deployed to New Mexico to assist with flood response efforts.

Officers began their assignment in Santa Fe several days ago, assisting at an Emergency Operations Center (EOC). Yesterday, they moved down to Ruidoso to continue those efforts.

The Ruidoso area is expected to experience heavy rain over the next few days, with the potential for flooding and landslides. Officers plan to remain in New Mexico through the weather event.

We also have an Officer responding in Texas with Oklahoma Task Force 1 and the Tulsa Fire Department to assist with flood recovery efforts there.
