A second man is in custody in connection with a 2018 homicide, the Tulsa Police Department announced Thursday.
On November 12th, 2018, around 1:00 p.m., Officers responded to the Candlewood Suites near 71st and Highway 169.
A hotel employee called 911, saying they found a man unresponsive in a vehicle in the parking lot. When Officers arrived, they found Alfred Seymore inside the vehicle with a single gunshot wound to the head. Seymore died several days later, on November 15th.
Video from the hotel showed two men get inside the vehicle with the victim, then later get out. Shortly after that, one of the individuals fired a gun into the vehicle and then fled.
At the time of the shooting, we had evidence from the victim's phone linking the incident to the suspect, Kristopher Thompson. However, there was insufficient evidence to arrest Thompson for the homicide at that moment.
We told you last month, Detectives built a case implicating Thompson in the shooting. He was charged with Felony Murder and arrested. Full story here: http://bit.ly/4lAOrwZ
After Thompson's arrest, Detectives continued the investigation, which led to Blevin Williams, Jr. being identified as the second suspect.
On July 17th, 2025, Blevin Williams, Jr. was also charged with Felony Murder. A few hours later, Officers with the Tulsa Police Fugitive Warrants Unit located him and he was taken into custody without incident.
This is an arrest, not a conviction.
