The Tulsa Police Department once again took part in the Tulsa Polar Plunge on Saturday morning, benefiting Special Olympics Oklahoma.
Despite the chilly temperatures and light rain, Officers and Apprentice Police Officers in the Academy plunged into 45 degree water at Paradise Beach Waterpark.
The Tulsa Fraternal Order of Police was the top law enforcement fundraising team, raising a little more than $8k this year.
The Tulsa Police Academy Class also took part and raised a little more than $4k.
The event directly benefits the 10,500 Special Olympics Oklahoma Participants. We appreciate everyone who donated and came out to show their support!
