Women in Policing: Registration open for February event

The Tulsa Police Department is putting together its latest Women in Policing opportunity for those interested in a career in law enforcement.

Women 18 or older are invited to get a firsthand look at what it's like to work on the department, including presentations on specialty units like K9 and Special Operations. Participants will also get lessons on Defensive Tactics and a Physical Abilities Test.

The event will be held Saturday, Feb. 21 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Tulsa Police Training Division at 6066 E. 66th Street North, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74117.

Lunch will be provided for those in attendance.
