VICTIM SERVICES

HOW WE CAN HELP YOU

The Victim Services Unit works with individuals whose lives have been impacted by crime. Our goal is to empower victims by providing information, resources and community support. Services and referrals are catered to each victim's individual needs and advocacy may include:
 

  • Information and referral to appropriate service providers

  • Emotional support

  • Assistance applying for and/or referral to Victims Compensation Fund

  • Provide current information regarding the status of the case

  • Notification of victim rights

  • Criminal justice support and advocacy

  • Safety planning

  • Crisis intervention

  • Assistance with evidence return

 

As a victim of a crime, pursuant to the Oklahoma Constitution, Article 2, § 34, you have certain rights.
