2025 Tulsa Police Motorcycle Skills Course dates announced

The Tulsa Police Department announced 2025 dates for its Motorcycle Skills Course on Saturday.

The dates will be March 15th, April 12th, April 26th, May 10th, May 24th, June 14th, September 6th, and September 9th. The classes typically run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This class is not designed to teach a person to ride that has never ridden. Some riding experience is required. TPD Motor Officers will work with riders to teach:

• Clutch Friction Zone

• Proper Braking Techniques

• Cone Patterns

• Rules of the road

Requirements:

• Street Legal Motorcycle

• Valid 'L' Endorsed Drivers License (Previously 'M')

• Insurance

• Helmet

• Eye Protection

• Gloves

• Long Sleeve Shirt

• Boots that cover Ankle
